Hi, Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule and doing this interview for MelodyInisder, where are you based out of?
SO: Thanks a lot for having us! We’re both from Norway.
MI: What currently keeps you busy these days?
SO: We’re both gaining a small income from work, but most of our time go to producing and building our music career.
MI: How do you create music?
SO: We both produce mainly using our computers. Our main softwares are Ableton Live and Logic Pro.
MI: How would you describe your style of music?
SO: We don’t really do one very specific genre, but we for sure could say EDM and EDM-pop. We like to think that we bridge the gap between radio friendly EDM and club music.
MI: What would you be doing today if not for this interview?
SO: Producing for sure. We’re trying to finish up a lot of projects these days.

MI: What music are you producing or DJ'ing and how did you both come together for this?
SO: We don’t really do one very specific genre, but we for sure could say EDM and EDM-pop. We like to think that we bridge the gap between radio friendly EDM and club music.
MI: What got you into this genre?
SS: Both of us have been really into EDM for a long time and have a big heart for dance music, but we also have a big interest in EDM-pop. What really got us into it must be concert experiences and just the love for big and talented artists in the industry.
MI: What are the various equipment and gear you have in your studio to facilitate production?
SS: Our computer is for sure our biggest asset, but we also both have our own MIDI keyboard and set of studio monitors. It’s important but we feel like you can get really far with just a good headset and a decent audio interface.
MI: Tell us, what does a typical day in the studio means for you? What inspires your productions?
SS: So we actually work a lot through Skype so we both can work at the same time and stay efficient. Then we share what we’ve done and work on those things again. In general it means having fun and producing what we like. Often we work long sessions if we feel like we’re really into something.

MI: How has the struggle been so far to your current stand?
SS: We have really understood that it’s important to get stuff out there and that you won’t get anywhere unless you work for it.
MI: Is the path ahead more struggling or does it get better from here?
SS: It only gets better! We feel like there is stuff happening all the time and people are showing interest, which is really fun and motivating. We really believe that a lot of big things will happen.
MI:Not necessarily monetary, how have the rewards been so far in this career?
SS: It’s been great. The response and the interest both events and people have shown for us has been mindblowing. We didn’t expect things to go so fast when we started out!
MI: Why did you choose this career? Do you think there are other reasons to choose too?
SS: It’s just passion. None of us is really seeing ourselves doing anything else. This is what we want to do!
MI:And how is the support from industry peer's?
SS: It’s awesome. In general people are just incredibly nice, and Nicky Romero, KSHMR, Brooks, Showtek, STMPD records and Warner have added our tracks to their Spotify playlists which mean a lot. Mesto and Jonas Aden also reviewed our track on Youtube as a guest which was totally unexpected. The World Championship 2020 in speed skating even booked us to play there. We’re just so grateful to all of them and can’t thank them all enough.

MI: How easy/difficult it is to release music on your genre?
SS: It’s not difficult per se but the hard part is to get it out and reach a lot of people. It requires a lot of work. But an important part is just to create stuff that people like.
MI: Who according to you are top 5 labels in your genre?
SS: Hmm, it’s hard to say, but if we have to choose five we would Universal, Sony, Warner, Spinnin, Hexagon.
MI: What is one attribute of this industry that is a boon?
SS: That a lot of artists support each other and help put new ones into light. The fans are also amazing.
MI: What is the one attribute of this industry that is a bane?
SS: Maybe that it’s a lot of good artists and that it takes very hard work to really break through.

MI:What is your methodology behind a set you play when you open for artists at clubs? What is the creative process behind your sets?
SS: We feel like a big part of it is to put on a show and get the audience hyped. If we enjoy it then the audience enjoy it!
MI: As an upcoming artist with tough competition, what struggles and challenges do you face?
SS: A big challenge is to produce enough to keep people engaged so right now that’s our main challenge we try to overcome. But in the end it’s just about keeping it going and working hard.
MI: What’s coming up for You down the road?
SS: We have a couple big collabs coming up and without saying too much we can say that it looks like some pretty good labels might be interested in our future tracks.
Well, thank you once again for spending time with us, giving us valuable insight in to your career. We wish you all the very best of luck in your endeavours. See you soon at a club.
