A modern pop-rock interpretation of the psychological tapestry is Dastaan’s new Crowd-sourced video single called ‘Kaun Bataye?’. Released globally on 31st July, it is a perfectly timed piece to drop with questions that are still at large.
‘Kaun Bataye?’ isn’t a cry for a help or an anthem to awaken a sleeping dragon, no. Though it does question a lot of freckles in the socio-cultural and socio-political spectrum, the song undoubtedly celebrates the fact that mankind doth prevail in the face of such adversity to regain the humanity that we seem to have lost somewhere along the way.
Presented in a modern pop-rock format, the infectious groove and vocal melodies provide the perfect backdrop for the somber poetry that evokes feelings of dissatisfaction, frustration and anger but also — most importantly — hope.
